The Saltzman-Leibovitz prize was established in 2025 by photographer and philanthropist Lisa Saltzman and photographer Annie Leibovitz, setting out to support and acknowledge emerging talent with a $20,000 prize-fund and an exhibition at Photo London for the shortlisted photographers.

Alongside press, Atelier provided additional support with securing and organising an exhibition at Photo London 2025, helping to establish the prize at the forefront of contemporary photography.
